Puneri Paltan announces Nitin Tomar as a captain; Vishal is named as vice captain for PKL 8
Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season 8 is all set to begin from 22nd December 2021. The tournament will take place in bio bubble. As a result all the matches will be played at single venue which is Bengaluru.
Puneri Paltan, PKL franchise from Maharashtra today announced their captain for the upcoming season. Ace raider Nitin Tomar will be the captain of Puneri Paltan meanwhile Vishal Bhardwaj is their vice-captain.
Nitin Tomar will lead Puneri Paltan in season 8. Talking about numbers Nitin has 442 raid points from 68 matches. Having 10 super 10s to his name Nitin averages 6.5 points per match.
Vishal Bhardwaj will be the vice-captain of Puneri Paltan in season 8. He has scored 199 tackle points in 60 matches. His average is 2.96 tackle points per match and has scored 15 high 5s till now.
While Captain Nitin Tomar is a raider; Vicecaptain Vishal is a defender. It will be interesting to see whether this partnership leads Puneri Paltan to their first ever trophy or not.
