Rajasthan Kabaddi League season 2 to get on the floors in mid June
The Rajasthan Kabaddi League (RKL) is a franchise based sports league, a professional level kabaddi league in Rajasthan managed by Atlanture Sports Private Limited.
The league has announced that second edition of this tournament will take place in mid-June. All 32 matches will be played in Jaipur on the mat ground.
8 teams will compete with each other to win the trophy. All matches will be broadcasted live on DD Sports. The season one was held from 18th to 23rd October 2019.
Jaipur Jaguars, Mewar Warriors, Chambal Champions, Ajmer Lions, Shekhawati Kings, Singh Surma, Bikana Riders, & Singh Jodhana were 8 teams in RKL season 1.
Shekhawati Kings became champions after defeating Singh Jodhana in the finals. Due to Coronavirus pandemic the league was postponed for a long period of time.
5 million people watched the season one on social & digitral media platforms. Redbull, OPPO, Zee Studios, and Book My Show were the key sponsors of RKL 1.
RKL is a semi platform for kabaddi in India whose motive is to catch young rural talent & train-retrain them eventually groom them, to put on national & international map of kabaddi sport.
