Raje Chandrarao Warriors won the title of Second Ghatkopar Kabaddi Premier League
Mumbai Suburb District Kabaddi Association recognized and Ghatkopar Pratishthan organized the second Ghatkopar Kabaddi Premier League. The tournament was commenced at Late Dattaji Salwi Ground, Bhatwadi, Barve Nagar, Ghatkopar West – 84.
Yesterday (13th January) Raje Chandrarao Warriors won the title of Second Ghatkopar Kabaddi Premier League. In the final match was Raje Chandrarao Warriors defeated Aaryan Warriors 25-21.
From Raje Chandrarao Warriors Suyog Rajapkar in offence and Ankush Gurav, Rohan Borhade, Shubham Shinde in defence performed well. Darpan Jabre, Aadesh Sawant and Chetan Panwalkar of Aaryan Warriors tried their level best. But could not make their team won the tournament.
Before the final match semifinals were held where Aaryan Warriors beat Delhi Yoddha 28-10. Darpan Jabre’s raids, Chetan Panwalkar’s tackles, and Aadesh Sawant’s all-round performance won the match for Aaryan Warriors. Delhi Yoddha’ Suraj More’s efforts went into vain.
In the second semifinal match, Raje Chandrarao Warriors won over Bhatwadi Sai Darshan 21-17. From Raje Chandrarao Warriors, Suyog Rajapkar, Ankush Gurav, and Shubham Shinde played well. Onkar Sakpal, Manish Lad, Vikas Shinde, and Ankit Ghag made huge efforts but was not enough for their team Bhatwadi Sai Darshan to win.
Raje Chandrarao Warriors was given the winning trophy and cash reward of Rs. 55,000. All the players from the winning team and runner up team associate colleagues were also facilitated by giving them awards and rewards. Suyog Rajapkar won ‘Best Player of the Tournament’ award. He was given cash award, trophy and LED Tv.
On this occasion MLA Ram Kadam, Chandrakant Malkar, Sanjay Bhalerao, Kedar Dighe, National players Sanjay Wadar and Nitin More were present. President Nilesh Jangam, Vice President Mohan Padawe, Acting Secretary Hemant Todankar, and their associates were praised for their efforts for making the league successful.
