Rajmata Jijau and Suvarnayug went in the next round of state level kabaddi championship for Namdar Trophy

Rajamata Jijau (Pune) and Suvarnayug (Pune) secured full points from group A and B respectively in the state level kabaddi championship for the Namdar trophy at Sanas stadium on Friday.

In the girl’s section, Rajmata Jijau (Pune) ousted Kuralaie (Mumbai) 49-32. Mansi Sawant and Snehal Shinde played well for the winners while Farhana Shaikh stood out for the losers.

Earlier, Suvarnayug Mandal defeated Matrabhumi Sangh (Pune) 53-23. Aishwariya kale got most of the points for the winners while Shreejana Yogi reduced the margin for the losers.

Raja Shiv Chhatrapati (Pune) defeated shiv Pratap Sangh (Pune) 53-23 from group H while Patangrao Kadam club (Pune) ousted Jagruti Pratisthan (Pune) 43-21 from group F.

In the boy’ss section, Shahu Sandoli (Kolhapur) beat Sattej Sangh (Pune) 24-17 from group A. Akshay Patil and Amit Patil excelled for the winners while Atmaram Kadam and Nilesh Kalbhare played well for the losers.
