Shrikant looking to Go a level up in new PKL season
Vivo Kabaddi League is one of the biggest sporting event in Kabaddi where Indian and overseas players shows their talent. In this tournament 12 teams compete with each other to win the trophy. After a gap of two years the league is all set to go on the floors from 22nd December at the single venue of Bengaluru.
One of the talented players who hails from Maharashtra, Shrikant Jadhav will be seen playing for UP Yoddha in the upcoming season. He was a part of Bengal Warriors in PKL 3 and 4. In season 5 he was key raider of U Mumba. After that UP Yoddha acquired his services and Shrikant helped them reach knockouts for two consecutive seasons.
Young Shrikant has 392 raid points from 76 matches played by him. If he scores 8 more points he will be one of the few players who have been successful in grabbing 400 raid points. This young player from Maharashtra has 10 super 10s and averages up to 5.15.
Shrikant is a do or die raid specialist. His ability to score at crucial situations makes him reliable player. UP Yoddha used FBM and managed to retain him for eighth edition of PKL. This time Shrikant will have Pardeep Narwal as a partner in offense. Together they possess the ability to destroy oppositions.
As the league will start in some time Shrikant will be looking to prove his metal. Shrikant who keeps performing better season after season will not miss the chance to write his name in the list of players with 400 raid points. His performance will be important in UP Yoddha’s campaign in PKL 8.
