Skipper Maninder strikes as Bengal Warriors cruise past Tamil Thalaivas
Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight is undergoing in Bengaluru. In the first match of tonight defending champions Bengal Warriors thrashed Tamil Thalaivas 37-28.
Tamil Thalaivas started the game on good note with Manjeet Dahiya’s raids and skipper PO Surjeet Singh’s tackles. But Bengal Warriors defense striked.
Bengal inflicted an all-out on Tamil to take the lead. Skipper Maninder Singh in raiding and Amit Narwal in defense helped them to dominate first half as 20-16.
The second half story was no different. On one side Manjeet Dahiya and PO Surjeet Singh were putting his efforts. But they did not get much needed support.
There was another all-out on Thalaivas by Bengal Warriors. Maninder Singh led Bengal dominated the game. This led them to score win against the Thalaivas.
Bengal captain Maninder Singh scored a super 10 with 12 raid points. It was his 7th super 10 in PKL season 8. Amit Narwal scored a high 5. Ran Singh earned 4 tackle points.
Tamil raider Manjeet Dahiya picked 8 raid points. Skipper PO Surjeet Singh had a high 5 to his name. Sagar scored 3 tackle points.
