Sunil Kumar to lead Gujarat Giants for third consecutive season in PKL

Pro Kabaddi League which is India’s second most loved and viewed league is taking place from 22nd December. As a part of precautions, for the first time audience is not allowed to cheer their favorite team in the ground of Bengaluru. Teams are practicing hard in the training camp.

One of the franchise, Gujarat Giants has given extension to Sunil Kumar for continuing captainship in the upcoming season. When he was captain in season 6, Giants had made it to the playoffs. But in the next season they were eliminated from group stage.

Mahendra Rajput, Ajay Kumar will be seen raiding for Gujarat Giants. These two have played for Giants earlier. Sunil Kumar along with Parvesh, Ravinder Pahal, Girish Ernak will be interesting combination to look for.

Talking about his own performance, he has grabbed 179 tackle points in 68 games. His average is 2.45 points per match and has a total of 10 high 5s to his name. His partnership with Parvesh Bhainswal will be lethal in Gujarat’s success. Sunil and his will be looking to qualify for playoffs.
