Surender’s smart work help UP Yoddha to register their first win

On the fourth day of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight fans witnessed another thrilling encounter in which UP Yoddha managed to beat Patna Pirates on last second. The final score is 36-35.

UP and Patna both started the game aggressively with both teams picking up points. It was a neck to neck battle. Still Patna Pirates took the lead before end of the first half.

Resuming the play Patna was leading the game 20-17. Sachin and Prashanth Kumar Rai were picking points. Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill first reduced and then took the lead.

Even after trailing, Patna came back strongly in the game and tried to match the score. In the dying seconds of match, Surender Gill did empty raid just to waste the time.

Prashanth crossed the baulk line and came back in his court thinking that it will be easy for them to tackle the raider as he will be under the pressure. The score was 34 UP and 33 Patna.

In the last raid Surender Gill was tackled by Patna Pirates. But he scored the bonus point. Ultimately UP Yoddha won this match by one point.

Pardeep Narwal picked up 12 raid points against his former team. Proving his worth Iranian all-rounder and PKL 8 most expensive overseas player Mohammadreza Chiyaneh scored his first high 5 for Patna in his debut PKL season.
