Technical Officials congregate for coaching camp before PKL

Pro Kabaddi League season 6 is to kick-off from 7th October 2018. The league will be held in 13 different cities of the country. 12 teams will fight it out to be the champion of PKL Season 6. In order to maintain sportsman spirit and discipline in the game, the role of technical officials is extremely important.

Technical officials such as Referees, Umpires, Assistant Scorer, Scorer, TV Umpires keep the games running smoothly and make sure the spirit of Kabaddi prevails in every game.

Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) has arranged two coaching camps for the technical officials of Pro Kabaddi League. Four officials have been selected from Maharashtra for attending the camp. Jitesh Datta Shirwadkar, Sagar Shripad Panchal, Aarti Ajay Bari, and Dhanashree H Joshi are the four referees attending the camp.

Jitesh Shirwadkar has been working as a referee in PKL since season 1. He hails from Mumbai and was also part of the referees of Kabaddi Masters, Dubai 2018.

Aarti Bari who belongs from Mumbai Upanagar is part of the PKL referees team from season 2. She has worked as a referee in Kabaddi World Cup 2016, Asian Kabaddi Championship 2017, Kabaddi Masters Dubai 2018 and Asian Games 2018.

Sagar Shripad Panchal is from Mumbai City and Dhanashree H Joshi is from Pune City. Dhanashree Joshi has worked as a referee in nationals and state level tournaments. Both Sagar Panchal and Dhanashree Joshi will make their debut as a referee in PKL season 6.

There is an ongoing camp of these elected officials in Mumbai from 15th September to 20th September 2018. After this camp, there will be another camp in Chennai which is to be held on 1st October to 3rd October 2018. Post these camps we would see these officials on the mat of Pro Kabaddi League season 6.
