The Amateur Kabaddi Federation Of India (AKFI) Does Massive Change In Player’s Representative State

Kabaddi, an indigenous game was referred to as a village sport is now reaching all over the world. Pro Kabaddi League which was started in 2014 gave a new life to the sport and as a result, it has become hugely popular.
Lately many district, national, international level tournaments are being commenced. The Kabaddi season is ongoing with full swing. Soon Federation Cup will be held.
The Amateur Kabaddi Federation Of India (AKFI) has made an announcement regarding the player’s representative state in the game. The decision was made in a meeting held by AKFI officials.
According to AKFI rules, players were able to play from any state. But in a huge move the players will be able to represent their home state only.
The players who have specific cases like relocation like government employees, marriage or unavoidable situations will be the exception to this rule. This rule will be applicable for all national level players.
