The coaches of PKL Season 6 who shape the game of Kabaddi

Kabaddi needs a strategic mind and body strength with which the raider and defender accumulate points. The maximum number of points help the team clinch victory in the game. In regard to this, the coach plays a vital role in Kabaddi. He forms a suitable strategy and looks after its implementation which makes sure his team wins the match.

Here is the list of coaches of all 12 teams of Pro Kabaddi League Season 6 :

1) Jagdish Kumble, Bengal Warriors

Jagdish Kumble is former Indian Professional Kabaddi Player. He was the member of the Indian team which won 2002 Asian Games Gold Medal. He joined the Bengal Warriors team last season. Under his coaching, Bengal Warriors reached in the playoffs of PKL season 5.

2) Randhir Singh, Bengaluru Bulls

Randhir Singh, Arjuna Award winner has been with Bengaluru Bulls from PKL season 1. Bengaluru Bulls were in the semifinals of  PKL season 1. They were the runners-up in season 2. But after season 2, the team is continuously standing at the bottom of the table in the last three seasons. This time he will be expecting a better performance by his team.

3) Krishan Kumar Hooda, Dabang Delhi K.C.

Dabang Delhi K.C. appointed Krishan Kumar Hooda as their head coach for the PKL season 6. He has coached Haryana State Team, Haryana Police Kabaddi team in many tournaments. He was also coach to the Indian Kabaddi Team which won SAF Games and Asian Championships on multiple occasions.

4) Manpreet Singh, Gujarat Fortunegiants

Manpreet Singh is younger coach among all team coaches of PKL. He was the captain of Patna Pirates team in season 3. Last season he was appointed as a coach of Gujarat Fortunegiants. The team was runner-up of season 5, he will continue with his role as the head coach of Gujarat Fortunegiants.

5) Rambir Singh Khokhar, Haryana Steelers

Rambir Singh Khokhar is the coach of Haryana Steelers for the upcoming 6th season of PKL. He was the coach of Haryana team last season as well where the team made it to the playoffs. This season he will look to win the title.

6) Balwan Singh, Jaipur Pink Panthers

Balwan Singh was part of the Indian team that won gold medals in the 1988 Asian Kabaddi Championship and 1989 SAF Games. Under his coaching, Indian Men’s Kabaddi Team has won three Asian Games Gold Medals and six World Cups. He is the winner of the Dronacharya Award (2005). From the first edition of PKL, Balwan Singh has been the coach of Jaipur Pink Panthers. Jaipur won the title in season 1 and were the runner-ups in season 4.

7) Ram Meher Singh, Patna Pirates

Ram Meher Singh is an Arjuna Awardee and former Indian professional Kabaddi player. Patna Pirates will continue Ram Meher Singh as their coach. He has helped them to win Pro Kabaddi League Season 5. He was also the coach of the Indian Men’s Kabaddi Team at the Jakarta Asian Games 2018.

8) Ashan Kumar, Puneri Paltan

Ashan Kumar is the newly appointed coach of Puneri Paltan. He is an Arjuna Awardee and a former Indian Professional Kabaddi player. It will be interesting to see how new Puneri Paltan team performs in the PKL season 6.

9) Edacherry Bhaskaran, Tamil Thalaivas

E. Bhaskaran will be the coach of Tamil Thalaivas in season 6. He was the coach of U Mumba for last 5 seasons. Under his guidance, U Mumba won the title in 2015 and were the runner-ups in season 1 and 3. He is a former Indian Kabaddi Team coach.

10) Naveen Kumar, Telugu Titans

Naveen Kumar is the Asian Games 2006 Gold Medalist and 2007 World Cup Winner. PKL season 6 is Naveen’s second season with Telugu Titans as a coach. So its gonna be interesting to watch out for Telugu Titans with some newly added players.

11) J. Udaya Kumar, UP Yoddha

Uday Kumar will once again be giving coaching to UP Yoddha. UP Yoddha entered playoffs in last Professional Kabaddi League Season 5. Before that, he was the coach of Telugu Titans for first 4 seasons of PKL.

12) Gholamreza Mazandarani, U Mumba

U Mumba has appointed Gholamreza Mazandarani as their coach for Season 6 of PKL. Gholamreza Mazandarani is the coach of Iran Men’s Kabaddi Team that recently won their first Gold Medal at Asian Games 2018.
