In PKL season 5, Nada was brought by Haryana Steelers and was also captain of the team. He topped the list of most tackle points last season grabbing 80 points in 21 matches. Under his captaincy, Haryana was successful in reaching the playoffs.
He has 16 super tackles to his name. He is also tied as the player with the maximum high 5s (19) in the league along with Manjeet Chhillar of Tamil Thalaivas. Ankle hold is the signature move of Surender Nada. He will be part of the Haryana Steelers.

Unfortunately, this SUMO (Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar) pair will not play together in season 6. Mohit is now part of Jaipur Pink Panthers and Nada is retained by Haryana Steelers.
