The State Level & Open Kabaddi Competition For Women & Industrial Workers To Take Place
The Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board is organising a State Level Kabaddi tournament from 24th to 27th January. The tournament will commence at Hutatma Babu Genu Mumbai Girni Kamgar Krida Bhavan, Senapati Bapat Bhavan, Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
The employees or workers in establishments situated in Maharashtra under Maharashtra State Labor Welfare Fund Act, 1953 can take part in this tournament. It is 26th Kabaddi tournament for industrial workers while 21st open tournament for women.
Due to Covid pandemic the competition did not take place. But now it will happen. There will be three categories – Men’s Urban, Men’s Rural & Women’s Open tournament. Teams can refer the website https://public.mlwb.in/public for more information.
The winner team will receive a trophy & cash prize of Rs. 50,000. The first runner up will get trophy & cash prize of Rs. 35,000. The second & third runners up teams will received a trophy & cash prize of Rs. 20,000. All the players will be given participation certificate.
Best Player on all three days, Best Raider, Best Defender & Best All-rounder awards will also be given here. The matches will be telecasted live on sportvot.com & on the YouTube channel of Maharashtra State Labor Welfare Board.
