With the confirmation of PKL season 8 kicking off, teams have started planning strategies for the new season. The first one was obviously the player auction where all the think tanks of all the teams worked hard to get the best possible team combinations. Most of the teams have also had one training camp completed by now.

With the new season, few changes are bound to happen. Some have changed the names and some have changed their logos. Haryana Steelers is one such team who has revamped their logo for the new season. They recently launched thier new logo on the occasion of ‘Harayana Diwas’ which is celebrated on 1st November every year by the people of Haryana.

Their old logo had a face of Deer on it. Re-designing it for season 8, now they have the image of the great warrior ‘BHIMA’ on it. Bhima is a heroic warrior from the Mahabharata. He is distinguished from his brothers by his great stature and strength.

He was recognized as the strongest man in the three worlds (heaven, hell and earth).
The ability to fight, strength, and perseverance are the qualities of Bhima, which the team management wants the ‘Dhakad Boys’ to adapt. Bhima was strongly determined and dedicated towards the battles he fought. His mace was the nightmare for the demons, the management expects the same dedication and agility on the mat from steelers in season 8.

Haryana have continued with Rakesh Kumar as their head coach for the upcoming season. Rohit Gulia, Mohammad Esmaeil Maghsoudlou, Rajesh Narwal and Surender Nada were some exciting buys for Haryana in the auction.
