The Telugu Titans kept me in the dark – Rahul Chaudhary
Leading Indian Kabaddi player Rahul Chaudhary has said that the Telugu Titans did not give him any idea about him being dropped from the team after the sixth season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Speaking in an Instagram live session of a website, Rahul revealed this.
Rahul played for the Telugu Titans from the first season of Pro Kabaddi to the sixth season. From the first season, Rahul did very well as a raider. He also won the Best Raider award in his fourth season. He played despite having a shoulder injury on occasion. “I considered the Telugu Titans as my home. I thought I would keep playing for this team as long as I am in Pro Kabaddi. I was confident that this team would not release me and go to any other team.” said Rahul.
Rahul said he felt weird that the Telugu Titans let him go to another team. In the seventh season, Rahul was picked by the Tamil Thalaivas team. However, the team did not make much of an impression. This season, Rahul became only the second player to score 1000 points in Pro Kabaddi.
