These Star Players To Be Awarded With Maharashtra State Sports Awards

The Maharashtra State Government has announced Shiv Chhatrapati awards. As a part of this, a total of five Kabaddi players will be honored with Shiv Chhatrapati Awards.

For her achievements in the sport of Kabaddi Veteran Kabaddi player Shakuntala Khatavkar (Pune) has been awarded with lifetime achievement award.

Akash Shinde (Nashik), Aslam Inamdar (Ahilyanagar), Shankar Gadai (Ahilyanagar) & Pooja Yadav (Mumbai City) will receive Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Awards.

They will receive the awards in the hands of Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao on 17th February at The Gateway of India, Mumbai.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune, on 18th April 2025.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan, CM Devendra Fadnavis, deputy CMs Eknath Shinde & Ajit Pawar along with other ministers will attend the award function.
