Nitesh Kumar is that player. Nitesh used to participate in various competitions from Services. In last year’s 67th Senior National Championships, he had scored a total of 20 tackle points in 7 matches. This year, Nitesh had participated in the national level competition held at Gotegaon in Madhya Pradesh on behalf of the UP Yodha Academy team. He had scored 15 tackle points in 5 matches in this tournament.

Nitesh has also made his mark in pro kabaddi in a short span of time. In the sixth and seventh seasons of Pro Kabaddi, he has scored 100 and 75 tackle points respectively.

The Goa team has been recruiting a number of notable players in the last few years. Earlier too, Goa had included Maharashtra’s Sneha Ghadge in its squad. Now with a good defender like Nitesh Kumar in the squad, the Goa team management has made its intentions clear.
