Top 5 Raiders Which Marked Successful PKL Debut
Dabang Delhi K.C. won their maiden title at Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight. In the eighth edition of PKL, there were many players who delivered some match-winning performances. Aslam Inamdar, Mohit Goyat, Rakesh, Bharat & Pardeep Kumar are the raiders who have made this season to their names.
Young raiders who made their debut successful in PKL 8:
1) Aslam Inamdar – Puneri Paltan
Puneri Paltan added Aslam Inamdar in their squad due to his heroics at 45th Junior National Championships & Khelo India Youth Games 2020. He clinched 169 raid points from 23 matches. He has scored 5 Super 10’s & 7 Super Raids. He is the highest raid points scorer for Puneri Paltan in PKL 8. Puneri Paltan went into playoffs courtesy of his raiding partnership with Mohit Goyat.
2) Mohit Goyat – Puneri Paltan
Mohit Goyat is the New Young Player brought by Puneri Paltan due to his performance at 2019 Khelo India Youth Games & Junior Nationals. He has clinched 159 raid points from 21 matches. He has 8 Super 10’s and 2 Super Raids to his name. He made an amazing raiding partnership with Aslam Inamdar due to which Paltan made it to playoffs.
3) Rakesh – Gujarat Giants
Rakesh who has given many astonishing performances at national level tournaments was given a chance in Gujarat Giants team. He clinched 140 raid points from 22 matches. He scored 5 Super 10’s & 4 Super Raids. He was the top raider for Gujarat Giants in this season. Gujarat Giants made it to semi-finals.
4) Bharat – Bengaluru Bulls
Bharat is one of the players from DNH foundation team in K7 Stage UP. Bharat clinched 115 raid points in 23 games. He has 3 Super Raids & 3 Super 10’s to his name in PKL 8. He was successful secondary raider to his skipper Pawan Kumar Sehrawat. Bengaluru Bulls went into semi-final in PKL 8.
5) Pardeep Kumar – Gujarat Giants
Pardeep Kumar is a part of Bronze medal winning Rajasthan team at 68th Senior National team. He was added in Gujarat Giants team. Pardeep Kumar took 75 raid points from 17 matches. He scored 3 Super Raids & 1 Super 10 in PKL 8. Gujarat Giants made it to semi-finals.
