U Mumba created history with the help of D Cheralathan’s record-breaking performance

Yesterday (2nd December) at Pro Kabaddi League match was played between U Mumba and Gujarat Fortunegiants for the sixth time. Gujarat was unbeaten in previous five matches.

U Mumba was leading the first half 17-13 over the Gujarat Fortunegiants. In the second half also, U Mumba kept their lead and gave no chance to the Fortunegiants. As a result, U Mumba crushed Gujarat Fortunegiants 36-26. This was the first time in league history U Mumba have beaten Gujarat Fortunegiats.

Siddharth Desai and Rohit Baliyan delivered their performances in the offense for U Mumba. Whereas Dharmaraj Cheralathan and Rohit Rana scored a High 5. Gujarat’s Sachin and Ruturaj Koravi were also good for the team.

U Mumba’s vice-captain and right corner Dharmaraj Cheralathan had a new record to his name. He took 6 tackle points and entered the list of players with 200 tackle points in PKL history. He has now clinched 205 tackle points from 94 matches.
