U Mumba crush Bengaluru Bulls in season opener of PKL8
Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight has finally kicked off in Bengaluru. In the inaugural match of PKL 8, Maharashtrian franchise U Mumba clinched win over Bengaluru Bulls 46-30.
U Mumba vice-captain Abhishek Singh gave his career best performance. He picked up massive 19 raid points. Bengaluru Bulls defense had no answer to his raids.
Both the teams started game on same speed but U Mumba picked up pace and inflicted first all-out on Bengaluru Bulls in the very 8th minute.
Mumba defense was successful in keeping Pawan Kumar quiet. Harendra was lead defender. But then Bulls started making comeback with Chandran Ranjit scoring first super raid of this season.
Proving his retention, Abhishek Singh scored super the first 10 of this season. By half time score was 24-17 in favor of U Mumba. After the match resumed, U Mumba got Bengaluru Bulls team out for the second time.
U Mumba kept the point’s difference to 8 to 10 so that Bulls cannot trail them easily. By the, Bulls team was out for third time and Mumba team won the match by 16 points margin.
