Video: Player got selected for Senior National Training Camp, Villagers celebrate with a procession

The 68th Senior Men’s Group National Kabaddi Championship is organized in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh from 13th to 16th April 2021. The selection trial of the Maharashtra State team participating in this competition was recently held at Baramati, Pune. About 100-110 players from different districts of Maharashtra had participated in the selection trial. Some of the players from this trial have been selected for the team’s training camp.

These players include Aniruddha Meher from Palghar district. For the first time, Aniruddha has been selected for the training camp of the national competition. Palghar District Kabaddi Association received a letter of his selection from Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association. After receiving this letter, there was a huge celebration in Ajinkya’s village. His villagers appreciated his selection as he is the only player from the entire Palghar district to be selected for this camp. The villagers were so happy that they celebrated with a procession and a live band.
