Will Surinder Singh live upto expectations from his new team?

Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season 8 is nearby. After a hit by Covid pandemic league will commence at Bengaluru only. Before that the auctions were held in the month of August where many veterans got sold at low price than expected, some new comers grabbed the attention. Currently all the teams are training hard for PKL 8.

Surinder Singh who belongs from Himachal Pradesh made his PKL debut under the captaincy of Anup Kumar for U Mumba in PKL 5. He was leading defender (58 tackle points) for them in that season. In season 6 and 7 he complimented well with Mumba skipper Fazel Atrachali which took Mumba in playoffs. But still U Mumba did not retain him. After that Telugu Titans grabbed him at the auctions.

His approach in defense is fearless when he makes his famous move dash. With this defensive style he has been successful in taking 174 tackle points from 68 matches. Averaging up to 2.48 points per tackle he has scored 7 high 5s in PKL career. He is 26 points away to reach the milestone of 200 tackle points.

Surinder is expected to lead the defense for Telugu Titans in forthcoming season 8. His combination in the defense with his team mates C Arun, Ruturaj Koravi will be one of the crucial factors in deciding Telugu Titan’s fate in PKL 8. Fans must be eagerly waiting for Suriinder’s record and his performance too.
