Mumbaikars set for double bonanza this Pro Kabaddi League

Power packed and action-packed Pro Kabaddi League will be back in this October 2018. The season 6 of PKL will begin from 5th October. Fans have been waiting for the season to kick off and with the schedule being announced all the fans have been delighted.

PKL’s Mumbai leg will have a total of 13 matches. In that, 11 matches will be league matches, 1 match will be playoff and the last match would be the much anticipated final of the season 6. Mumbai leg will take place from 9th November to 15th November 2018.

First three days will be zonal matches and next three days will be the inter-zone matches. After league matches, there will be one playoff match in Mumbai on 3rd January 2019. The Final match of PKL season 6 will be played on 5th January 2019.

Iran Kabaddi Team captain Fazel Atrachali is back in U Mumba this season. Hadi Tajik, Dharmaraj Cheralathan, Rohit Rana, Rohit Baliyan, Darshan Kadian, Surinder Singh, Abolfazal Maghsodlomahali are in U Mumba squad.

On the first day of Mumbai leg, home team and winner of season 2 U Mumba will be up against their arch-rivals Jaipur Pink Panthers. Anup Kumar will play from Jaipur Pink Panthers against his former team U Mumba. It will be a highlight of this match. Next day on 10th November U Mumba will have to face Season 5 Runner-up Gujarat Fortune Giants. The match of U Mumba vs Haryana Steelers will be last zonal match of Mumbai leg and will be held on 11th November.

12th November 2018 will be a rest day. Next day, on 13th November Inter-zone week be will start. U Mumba of zone A will play against UP Yoddha of zone B. U Mumba’s former star raider Rishank Devadiga will play for UP Yoddha in second consecutive season.

U Mumba will take on Bengaluru Bulls on 14th November. U Mumba’s most successful raider of season 5, Kashiling Adake is now part of Bengaluru Bulls. And on the last day of Mumbai Leg U Mumba will play Ajay Thakur led Tamil Thalaivas.

Mumbai leg wraps up on 15th November and all matches will be played at Mumbai. Venue confirmation is yet to be received from the official sources.
